I'm having trouble getting the news listing to load the full news article into its own page to view the article. Is there some trick to it?

For example, using the user group sample site, I cannot get the links on the home page to launch into a detail page. It just gives me an error. Looking at the details of the "NewsView" control, it says "

It then has ~News.aspx listed at the detail page.

    Hi Rob Prokopy,

On the page where you will have single item you should have added NewsView control as well. Another way to create a page that will be used to show the full info of the item could be set under Advanced tab >> Explicit Links >> SingleItemUrl.

Let us know if you need further assistance in this matter.

Thanks -- that did the trick. I thought there was something more involved. I simply created a new page, put a NewsView control on it and then pointed all of my news listing pages to using my new page as the target for opening a single article.
