I would like to know how does content captured in a Generic Content Control display on a page. I do know how it works when the actual content is shared (i.e. in the Generic Content Module).

Further, I would like to know if it's possible to "get" to the html that WILL be rendered in these Generic Content Controls before they are displayed on screen.

    I hope you can help!

    Hi Adrien,

The content of Generic Content control is displayed by HtmlTextWriter in Render method.  You can get the content before it is rendered by overriding Render method of GenericContent control. You can take a look at this KB How to wrap GenericContent control
