I have a bunch of controls in a DLL that are being used throughout my SP4 website. I want to change the namespace of the DLL from "MyExample.SomePlace" to "MyExample2.AnotherPlace". I do this in Visual Studio and rebuild the controls fine, but how do I change the controls throughout my site without having to go through each page and replace the control. Do I just rename the namespaces in the table "sf_WebControlBase"?

    Hello bemara57,

Yes you can change the type of the control inside [sf_WebControlBase].
