ok, I'm working through the Implementing Control Designers sample/example and am having an issue locating the ILinksList interface.  I believe I have a base understanding of what trying to be accomplished here, but am not able to get this to work.  When I compile my code, I get an error saying the type or namespace name "ILinksList" could not be found.  Does anyone have any ideas?

    Hi Randel,

We apologize for the confusion. The code in the topic you are working with is a small part of the whole project that is used in "Adding New Controls to Sitefinity" section. The fist topic in this section contains an overview and a zipped file with the whole project used throughout the section. All other topics in it demonstrate a separate functionality and include only the code that demonstrates how to implement that functionality. Still, in order to be able to run the code, you will need to download the whole project from Implementing Controls Overview .

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    All the best,

    Hey Sonya,

Thanks for the quick response.  I made the assumption that following the sample/examples I would have recreated all the needed code, so I when I saw that, I never downloaded it and forgot to go back and relook at it.

But again, thanks for the help.

    Hey Joe,

Thanks for checking in and for now, yes my technical questions have been answered and I have been able to create a new project, copy the code from the first lab/example/topic into my new project and have been able to get that code to work.  I have not however attempted to save any link list.  I've just tried to get the designer to work for editing like the topics walk through.
