Do we need a separate server to run the Sitefinity CMS application for Internet users to update content?

Background.  Our web server is in the DMZ.  We plan to start using Sitefinity controls on that server next month.  Our development computers and SQL server are on the LAN.  But, we intent for some constituents to update content via the public internet and the Web Based Sitefinity CMS system. Can it reside on the same server as our production web server?

    Hello Robert,

Thank you for using our services.

You can use the same server if you can create a new virtual directory. The content is saved in the database so you can move it whenever you want. You can also use your development computer is you can grant access to them.

Let us know if there  is anything else that we can do for you.

    All the best,
