    Our client, whose site runs on Sitefinity (currently 3.6), will be sending newsletters from the system, and they have a specific requirement to report when a given newsletter was sent to each recipient (or not sent in the event of an error).

    I haven't been able to find anything in the documentation or forums, nor by poking around the database, that indicates whether or not Sitefinity logs the results of newsletters sent on a per-recipient basis.  All I spotted was a table, "sf_Notif_FailedEmail", that appears to log failed attempts only.

    Does Sitefinity log such information?  If not, it seems I'd need to develop some custom code using the API somehow to send and log the newsletter emails.  Looking for ideas on how to approach this.

    Thanks!

    Hello Jon Kramme,

    Below is a sample code that illustrates how to get the failed email addresses for a given newsletter. The code loops through all newsletters, but you could pass the newsletter ID to the manager

    Telerik.Notifications.Newsletters.DataManager newsletterManager = new Telerik.Notifications.Newsletters.DataManager();
    IList allNEwsLetters = newsletterManager.GetNewsletters();
    foreach (INewsletter letter in allNEwsLetters)
    {
        if (letter.Status == "Failed")
        {
            // this will return the failed email list
            Response.Write(letter.FailedEmailList);
        }
    }

    All the best,
