Has anyone foud a way to build a newsltter template  using a predefined header/footer, columns, etc?  Or anyway to create a standard format where we can just update the data.  OR would it work to create the newsletter as a standard Sitefinity "page", update it, then paste the resulting html into the newsletter form? Forgive me if this is a lame idea -- I'm not a programmer.   Thanks.

    Hello Foodsleuth,

You can either create newsletters with the built-in editor, or create your content with a 3rd party tool. In both cases, directly copying HTML content from a page is not recommended, because most of the email clients do not support CSS, Javascripts, Java applets and even Dynamic HTML like the browsers do.

Here's a nice guidance on how to create HTML newsletters (emails) - How to Code HTML Email Newsletters.
