    Hello Bachar Zeidan,

    It is not possible to check whether the Date value of the TextSettings control has been checked or not.

    You could expose another property of the custom class you have created that acts as Publication_Date of the default control. You can crate a custom control designer and add  a new CheckBox control inside it. This will allow you to check whether your custom checkbox is checked and pass this value to the NewsView control.

    You have to create a custom control designer that inherits from Telerik.News.WebControls.Design.NewsViewDesigner. There create a public property of type Boolean where you set the value of the CheckBox. You have to override OnSaving method inside the custom designer and set a property of the NewsView control with the selected value from the designer

    public override void OnSaving()
        ((NewsViewCustomControl)DesignedControl).CheckBoxValue = false;
        ((NewsViewCustomControl)DesignedControl).CheckBoxValue = true;

    Sincerely yours,
