    I am encountering an error when trying to select the pageindex for a search index. The other 3 types (news, blog and wiki) all work just fine. There have been no changes to any of the admin templates for search that I am aware of, so I'm unsure of what is causing the error.

    Error: A required control was not found in the template for "". The control must be assignable form type "System.Web.UI.Control" and must have ID "urlPicker".

    Again, I get this error immediately when selecting the pageindex source for the search index.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    Hello Brett,

    There are two controls in the solution where you should have a control with this ID

    •  Sitefinity\Admin\ControlTemplates\Pages\IndexSettingsControl.ascx(9):

    <asp:LinkButton ID="urlPicker" runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:Select %>" CssClass="picker"/>
    • Sitefinity\Admin\ControlTemplates\Search\SearchBoxControlDesigner.ascx(10):

    <asp:LinkButton ID="urlPicker" runat="server" Text="<%$ Resources: PickUrl %>" CssClass="picker"/>

    Best wishes,
    Ivan Dimitrov
