    Hi!

    We are using Panel bar navigation control and using our own CSS styles this is making the > disapear. So when we click on the parent it directly expands and lands in the respective page instead of staying on the same page. Can you help us with this.

    As we are uproaching our deadline do you have any other way to anwer our question other than forum.

    Regards,
    Smitha.

    Hi Smitha,

    You can prevent the zero item from PostBack using the code below.

    <%@ Control Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="SitePanelbar.ascx.cs" Inherits="UserControls_SitemapPanelbar" %>
    <%@ Register TagPrefix="telerik" Assembly="Telerik.Web.UI" Namespace="Telerik.Web.UI" %>

    <script type="text/javascript"
    function OnClientItemClicking(sender, args)
       var item = args.get_item();
       if (item.get_level()==0)
       {
           args.set_cancel(true);
           item.set_expanded(!item.get_expanded());
       }
       else
       {
          args.set_cancel(false);
       }

    </script>

    <asp:SiteMapDataSource ID="SiteMapDataSource1" runat="server" ShowStartingNode="false"/>
    <telerik:RadPanelBar OnClientItemClicking="OnClientItemClicking" ID="RadPanelbar1" runat="server" DataSourceID="SiteMapDataSource1" OnItemDataBound="RadPanelbar1_ItemDataBound" EnableViewState="false"

    </telerik:RadPanelBar>

    As for the support options take a look at Support Options.

    Kind regards,
