I'm getting a permissions issue on my production server.  When dragging a poll User Control to a page and after I have connected it up to the poll I want displayed, the page will give the following error:

A generic error occurred in GDI+. Check the folder specified in the TempImagesFolder property of the control. Current value is "/App_Data/Polls_Temp". The folder should exist and must have been granted write permissions for the ASPNET user.

I have given the ASPNET Write permissions to that folder, restarted IIS, but that didn't fix it.  What else can I try?

    Hi Adam,

    Thanks for contacting us.

This is a known issue with Sitefinity 3.1 and it is related to the changes in the RadChart control API. The workaround is to create a folder named Temp in the root directory of your application. You could control this folder through the TempImagesFolder property of the Chart control, which sets folder for the chart's temp images. Please grant the folder permissions for the ASPNET user account.

I hope that this resolves your technical issue. Feel free to contact us if you need further assistance.

    Best wishes,
    the Telerik team
