I recently created a Sitefinity project that serves as a vendor portal.  I created a user control and uploaded to the site.  Next, I created a sample page with the user control shown.  So far everything works fine.  The user controls content should be loaded based on the user login to the portal.  My question is, how can I send information concerning the logged in user to a dynamic page.  I created my own providers and replaced the Sitefinity providers.  I am using the Sitefinity login page.  The sitefinity login page seems to be the place for me to perform the work that is required; however, I do not understand how to get at custom provider information and pass this information along to the next page.

    Hello Ronald,

    1. You can add logic in your user control and from there check the current user and decide what will be shown. By default you can use GetCurrentUserRoles and GetCurrentUser methods of UserManager class.

    2. You can get the user from HttpContext.Current - context.User or return Thread.CurrentPrincipal

    3. You can use QueryString or Cookies to pass some data between pages or controls.

    Kind regards,
