    Hi!

I have a problem with my project on Sitefinity after I patch It to 3.7 sp2. Localization doesn't work now. I didn't touch any part of web.config which is connected with localization (I have always using PathPrefix type of localization). After patching I have this: http://mysite/default.aspx. But I need http://mysite/ru/default.aspx or http://mysite/en/default.aspx. And also I don't have control to switch languages in admin interface. What I did wrong? After 3.7 sp1 all was working fine. Maybe I forget something to paste in web.config?

    Thank you.

    Hello Paul,

Thank you for using our services.

We have not experienced any problems with localization and upgrades. If you have a backed up version of your old website's web.config file could you please compared it to the new web.config and see if there have been any accidental changes. Please double check the <localization> configuration section of your upgraded website's web.config file.

    All the best,

    Hi Radoslav!

I have done this first. I compared my web.config and backup and all was same for localization section.

What other reason can cause this problem?

    Thank you.

    Hello Paul,

Thank you for getting back to me.

Do you have any custom code relating to localization? Probably some code in Global.asax file and you have replaced the Global.asax with the one in upgrade patch. I have upgraded a couple of localized projects from Sitefinity 3.7 SP1 to Sitefinity 3.7 SP2 and the localization was working fine. Can you make sure all assemblies in bin directory got replaced properly.
