    hi all!

i am wondering if the following is possible: is it possible to query pages? i know that this is possible in the news and generic content modules by using the ContentManager or NewsManager, but it does not seem to be possible for pages. We have a been using pages as a novel solution to managing some content and would like to be able to query them without having to touch the database directly. basically we wish to find pages with certain phrases in the title and find out it's ancestory (who it's parents are, who it's parent's parent's are, and so forth to the root).

is this functionality or something similar posssible using your API, or do we really have to start muddling around with the database? i am not comfortable having to rummage through the database!

we are using the latest version of sitefinity 3.2 by the way (we're too worried about breaking things by upgrading at the moment :-))

    Hello Nick,

This is possible. The manager is called CmsManager this time :)
Please refer to the Developers Manual and the article Finding Pages.

Let me know if you have any other questions regarding this.
