    Hi,

    I am using a hosted SiteFinity site. I am wanting to add an area to the content pages which can have a mix of text and graphics. To do this I have added a generic content control. The problem is that I seem to get a much  ore basic editor to the r.a.d. editor I was expecting. Is there something I need to configure / change to enable this.

    An example of the sort of page I am trying to construct is here http://gfed.biz.120.webhostforasp.net.au/ResidentialCommunities/Elouera.aspx (without pics)

    I am new to SiteFinity but am really enjoying it as a product. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards
    Rob

    Hi Robert,

    Thank you for using our services.

    You can add/remove features to/from your editor, by changing the EditorToolsFile.xml file located under  ~\Sitefinity\Admin\ControlTemplates\. More information could be found at Introduction to Toolbars

    Check out the EditorToolsFileAll.xml (~\Sitefinity\Admin\ControlTemplates\EditorToolsFileAll.xml) to see all available options.

    Let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.

    Kind regards,

    Hi there are  2 tool files there one is EditorToolsFileAll.xml and other is EditorToolsFile.xml.
    First of all please tell me where to specify which xml file rad editor should use.
    Secondly i think by default it uses EditorToolsFile.xml
    I entered the following buttons to the toolfile

    <tools dockable="false">
        <tool name="ForeColor" />
        <tool name="BackColor" />
        <tools name="ConvertToUpper" />
        <tools name="ConverToLower" />
        <tools name="RealFontSize" />
        <tools name="ToggleScreenMode" />
        <tools name="ToggleTableBorder" />
        <tools name="Zoom" />
        <tools name="ModuleManager" />
        <tools name="ToggleDocking" />
        <tools name="FindAndReplace" />
        <tools name="Print" />
        <tool separator="true" />
      </tools>
    But from those all only two are coming forecolor and backcolor
    can you please tell me why is it so.

    Please reply soon its urgent

    Hello eraashishgupta,

    The RadEditor use EditorToolsFile.xml. As I see it you have misspelled <tools name="ConverToLower" />. It should be <tools name="ConvertToLower" />

    The other tools work. You can find more information at http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/Editor/Examples/Default/DefaultCS.aspx
