    Hello, I have an issue related to making use of the RadEditor for ASP.Net AJAX control from within a Sitefinity Page.

    By following a previous post, I was able to get and store the full HTML for a Sitefinity Page in my site:

    During the post back of a page with the RadEditor control as part of the web form, I am now successfully setting the following properties for the RadEditor:
    Dim strPageHTML As String = ""
    strPageHTML = Session("OutputHTML").ToString()
    'Setup RadEditor1 properties
    RadEditor1.Enabled = True
    RadEditor1.Content = strPageHTML

    All of this works fine, so far. I am able to see that the RadEditor contains the HTML content that was stored into a Session Variable during the over-ride of the Page Render.

    However, here is where I'm encountering the issue. I am not able to make use of the RadEditor's ExportToPdf() method. I am trying to follow this TelerikTV example to achieve an Export to PDF:

    In my code, during the same post back event I try this:
    'Export to PDF file

    Unfortunately, the result is:
    Compiler Error Message: BC30456: 'ExportToPdf' is not a member of 'Telerik.Web.UI.RadEditor'.
    Source Error:
    Line 53:
    Line 54:         'Export to PDF file
    Line 55:         RadEditor1.ExportToPdf()

    I dont understand. How is 'ExportToPdf' not a member of Telerik.Web.UI.RadEditor, when I have a valid RadEditor control in my page that is accepting property settings including content?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello Steven,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    The ExportToPdf is a new feature for the RadEditor and is included in the last release of Sitefinity(version 3.6).
    You need to upgrade your site to the new version of Sitefinity and then you will have all the new features for the RadEditor available.

    Hope this information will help you.
