I think that the problem with RadAjaxManager you are experiencing is because of the difference of use scenario with a regular .aspx page. When the RadAjaxManager is used in development scenarios where you have Master/Content pages
or in WebUser controls
the use of the manager is a little bit different. In a regular .aspx page you will have the RadAjaxManager declared on the page, where as in the above mentioned scenarios you have to declare the Manager in the top level page and then in pages or controls where you need RadAjaxManager you should use RadAjaxManagerProxy
. I have attached some sample markup which utilizes RadAjaxManager and ajax controls in sitefinity.
