    Hi Team,

It's not the first time that i demand this point. It's possible to schedule events in Sitefinity like manage backups using some internal api or similar?. Exist another way like use one Uc to get the current day and perform some action one time by day at some hour like send one rapport or newsletter without consoming resources using timers?.

    Hello Pierre,

The Scheduling will be available as a built in feature from Sitefinity 4.0. At this stage you can try creating scheduled tasks from SQL Enterprise Manager that could perform database backup. Another option is adding some custom logic in Global.asax - Application_Start that will check the DateTime. Now and execute your code if necessary.

    Sincerely yours,
