There is no such field, and in the current public implementation, searching the content of the libraries module (Images & Documents) is not possible. I informed you that we are working on this issue, and as a matter of fact, the feature is almost implemented and only final touches remain. We will see if it is possible to include it in the service pack (at most a month after the ASP.NET AJAX controls Q1 release), or if it will be released directly for 4.0 (we are currently in internal discussion about the roadmap and final release date, so I can't tell you for sure when it will be out).
As an alternative to that field, you choose an indexer
, or an index source
, as it is called in the UI. Every indexer has specific settings:
- Page Index - this will make the search engine search the pages you create for keywords. You can choose which pages to be indexed (made ready for searching), or you can index all of them (by selecting none and just adding the page indexer)
- News Index - this will prepare the news items for being searched. You can select where you have put the public control which will display the news (News View). That is the place where you will go after clicking on the search result item in the Search Results control.
- Blogs Index - this will search through the blog posts.
I hope this will clarify the things about indexing. If I wasn't clear enough, please, feel free to ask.
