We just setup a second sitefinity instance to hold all of our help articles and IT related applications. While this instance runs on the same server, same database server it's a different url and completely separate site.

If we wanted to make the content in the second sitefinity site searchable by our original sitefinity portal, would there be an easy way to do this?

    Hi Jon Ingersoll,

The easiest way would be adding additional provider with connection string that points to the other project database( if the database is not shared)

     <search defaultProvider="Search"
            <add name="Search" type="Telerik.Search.Data.DefaultProvider, Telerik.Search.Data" connectionStringName="DefaultConnection"
            <add name="SearchTwo" type="Telerik.Search.Data.DefaultProvider, Telerik.Search.Data" connectionStringName="WebsiteTwo"

If this does not help, please write back to us.

    All the best,
    Ivan Dimitrov
