With 3.0 I was able to Sort and Filter list using special Sitefinity (Company name should probably be in dictionary) syntax for equalities, but in 3.1 I do not see that property available when I add a list to a page. I know that a different thread specified how to sort News items, but I don't even see a SortBy option in the Appearance Group for Lists. Is there a way that I can do this aside from creating a custom control?

    Hello Joseph,

You could wrap Lists control in a User Control and use its CustomDataSource property to implement the logic for sorting the lists by some criteria. In the attachment you could find a simple example how to achieve this.

    Hope this helps.
