    I added an entry in the table sf_Personalization table.

    USE

    [Sitefinity]

    GO

    DECLARE

    @return_value int

    EXEC

    @return_value = [dbo].[sf_Personalization_upd]

    @PO_ID

    = 14,

    @P_Application

    = N'/',

    @P_UserName

    = N'sa',

    @P_KeyName

    = N'showEmailNotifications',

    @P_ModuleName

    = N'global',

    @P_BinaryValue

    = 0x0001000000FFFFFFFF010000000000000004010000000E53797374656D2E426F6F6C65616E01000000076D5F76616C75650001000B,

    @P_XmlValue

    = N'<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?><boolean>false</boolean>'

    SELECT

    'Return Value' = @return_value

    GO

    Now where should I create the sentence for showEmailNotifications to show on the dashboard settings screen.

    Hi mathieu cupryk,

    The Dashboard is physical page located in ~\Sitefinity\Admin\Default.aspx.

    If you trying to add additional information to the DB directly it might not work since, Sitefinity uses Nolics.ORM to work with the DB Tables.
