Hello William Brumbelow,
If you have Sitefinity 3.5 or earlier, the default CSS file for Lists controls is ~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Lists/listsCommonLayout.css. You can modify the styles there.
As you may know, in Sitefinity 3.6 controls and CSS files are built-in.
So the easier way to modify the CSS for Lists controls is to write more specific rules in your site theme or use important declaration (!important
) to override the default styles.
The other option is to map the Lists control that you use to an external template. You can read more on how to do that in this article: How to map a view to an external template, in Sitefinity 3.6 or later?
After that, specify another CSS to be applied to Lists:
|<sfWeb:CssFileLink ID="CssFileLink1" FileName="~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Lists/listsCommonLayout.css" Media="screen" runat="server" />
...or remove the declaration from the control and write all needed CSS in your Site theme.
