I have a custom control project that i reference and use in the controls that i add to SiteFinity... So this control is not one that is added to SiteFity through the admin area but rather is a custom control that is used in the controls that are added to SiteFinity.

This control finds the Script manager and registers both ClientScriptInclude's and ClientScriptBlock's to the script manager. Stepping thought this controls code when debugging, the scriptmanager is found and the script do get registered.

I get a javascript error on the borwser "Sys is undefined"... I have done allot of researching for this, there are only a few causes i can find:

  2. Missing ScriptManager
  3. Badly configured Web.Config that doesn't contain definition for ScriptResources handler
  4. HttpCompression module "breaking" ScriptHandler.axd output to browser

  5. All of these items seem fine to me... Does anyone have any insite into this... Maybe how script includes and blocks should be registered, other than how i am doing it now?

    Nugs

I had forgotten to switch the applicatio to classic app pool. Doing so made the error go away.

    Regards, Mikael
