I am attempting to modify an existing Sitefinity solution to allow users to subscribe to updates for forum notifications.  I have most of the pieces in order, however, we have moderation enabled and I don't want to send the email notification until the post has actually been made visible.

I have tried creating event handlers using Telerik.Cms.Engine.ContentManager.Executing, Telerik.Cms.CmsManager.Executing, and Telerik.Forums.ForumManager.Executing to no avail.

Is there a specific event I can listen for that fires when the "Make Visible" linkbutton is clicked by a moderator?

    Hello Ty,

There is no events that is thrown when you make a post visible.

What you can do : You can subscribe this.allPosts.ItemCommand inside \Sitefinity\Admin\ControlTemplates\Forums\ControlPanelViewThreadTemplate.ascx or its code behind.

Then you can check the check the CommandName which should be ChangeModStatus and get the post Id form e.CommandArguments. Then send an email.

    Best wishes,
