I am trying to write some unit tests for my business layer and I am wanting to access the Telerik.News.NewsManager class but everytime I attempt to initialize this NewsManager manager = new NewsManager("News"); I get a:

Failed Test NZPost.Intranet.Business.Test Initialization method NZPost.Intranet.Business.Test.Common.Utilities.NewsItem.EnterNewsItems threw exception. System.TypeInitializationException:  System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'Telerik.News.NewsManager' threw an exception. --->  System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object..

Are you able to access the manager classes from a unit test project in visual studio 2008, I have all the references included.

    Hi Jay,

I apologize for the late reply.
Are the Unit test project, and the Sitefinity project added in the same solution?

    Kind regards,
