    Hey Bob and friends -

I have a category and products module that was producing pretty ugly urls like.

    /products/productList.aspx?categoryId=987987-978-987-98987
    and
    /product/productDetail.aspx?categoryId=987987-978-987-98987&productId=234234-23432-234234-234234

    My friendly urls look like:
    /products/[catogoryname]/[productname].aspx

You get the idea. Anyway,  I then added a basic class to the app_code that implements IHttpModule to do the url rewriting. The context.Rewrite(url) is a url like the ugly urls listed above. However, it still comes up with a 404 error. It seems to ignore SF. I know the url is correct because I have used the same url to response.redirect instead of request.rewrite and it works. Can you let me know how I could implement this in SF?

    Sincerely,

    Ben

    Hello Ben,

Actually, this functionality is supported in Sitefinity 3.0 with some minimal changes in the web.config.
    Here is the workaround: http://www.sitefinity.com/support/forums/support-forum-thread/b1043S-tabbb.aspx

    Kind regards,
