I'm using URLRewrite extensively on a site with custom modules.  I'm using this to generate some custom URLs hoping to produce better search engine results for the site, but I think the opposite may be happening.

The Google webmaster tools / sitemaps section is giving me a warning that says these URLRewrites are causing 302 redirects in the headers instead of a clean page load (no redirect code in the header sent back to the requesting client).

Do I have my URLRewrite setup incorrectly?  Should they be sending 302 redirects?  I think the general feeling in the SEO world is that 302 redirects are bad news, but I'm fairly new to this game.

After digging into the google webmaster tool a little further I found the problem.  The redirect was being caused by my code and not the URLRewrite.  It looks like the URLRewrites are working as expected and in a SEO friendly manner.
