I am using the video control to display a list of wmv files.  When the user clicks a video preview it takes them to a new page to play the video but doesn't start playing it after the page loads.  Is there a way to make the control do this?

    Hi Bobby,

Currently, autoplay = true is not supported via UI configuration. Therefore, I have attached a custom xap (silverlight player). Please, unzip the attachment and add the xap file to your installation under ~/Sitefinity/TelerikSilverlight folder and hopefully everything will be fine for you.

Actually, the basic concept should be: the player should load an index image on top of the player and pressing play will start streaming the video. This is because the client may go to the detail mode and right away point to somewhere else - in that case it will be a bandwidth waste. But yes - you can configure it via IIS7 ( last year Scott gu showed it in Mix).

Let me know if the xap works for you.

    Dear Mehfuz,

I added your customised xap file to the TelerikSilverlight folder and it works well on Internet Explorer but not in Firefox nor in Google Chrome.
Do you know something about this?

    Best regards

    Hi Patrick,

Could you clear the browser cache and history completely. It is possible that the xap has been cached nad it is loading the old one.

    Kind regards,
