I am using Sitefinity 4.0, and my site in the future will have some Silverlight/extra js content. Of course, this means the site will take a hit, performance wise.

What I want to know is, how performant is Sitefinity anyway? Also, is the CSS/javascript Sitefinity uses minified/compressed?

I am looking to optimise my site's speed, but I want to know what has been done first.

    Hi G S S,

We use WcfRestful services, so there should no not be a problem in most of the cases where you use the built-in logic. We are loading minified version of the scripts and there is script combining option in the RouteHandler (thebase class for Sitefinity's route handlers).. You can also enable page caching when you create or edit a page.
