    Hi,

I have just installed the project manager and created a new project. The URL on the web server is http://localhost:55215/BeyondIncome/Sitefinity/Dashboard, however when I try to access that while not remoted into the web server (substituting the server name for "localhost") I get a page not found error. How can I address this from a computer that is not remoted into the web server? Can I create a web site in IIS pointing to the the folder structure for this project? If I do that and point to "D:\Web\Projects\GLCapitalPartners", I get a page not found, even when on the web server directly.

    Thanks for your help.

There is nothing special about the project or its folder.

Provided you configure IIS, the various security setting (IIS, File and DB) and any firewall, it will work - I do this sort of thing all the time.

You can also move the project and configure IIS to use the new location (if it simplifies some of the security requirements) and then modify projects.xml so that the project manager knows where to find it.
