    I am trying to build multiple language versions of the Generic Content modules on my site. I set up the default culture as "en" and the cultures as "en, es, fr, de, bg". I enabled localization for the Generic Content module.

    I am now seeing the 'Change Language' box when looking at a Generic Content Item, but all other languages except 'English' are disabled. Can you tell me why this is?

    Also, when I click on 'Edit this item', I do not see a way to set the culture. I assumed this is because I need to select the language before editing, but I could be wrong.

    Please let me know what I am missing.

    Thank you,

    Scott McNeany

    Hello Scott McNeany,

    1. Make sure that you have enabled localization

    <localization defaultProvider="Sitefinity" persistenceMode="QueryString" defaultCulture="en" cultures="en, es, fr, de, bg">

    persistenceMode could be PathPrefix and DomainName

    2. Make sure that allowLocalization="true" for the providers under cms mode (Generic_Content, News, Blogs etc)

    Best wishes,
    Ivan Dimitrov
