    We have hired an SEO expert to review our website before launch. One of the major topics and concerns he has brought up is that our site is redirecting visitors from to and has told us that we need to resolve this issue.

    I have research all of the URL Rewriting strategies and have found nothing specific pertaining to this exact topic. If someone could point me in the right direction as soon as possible I would appreciate it.

    Hi Peter Snyder,

    Thank you for using our services.

    Could you try the following.

    1) Set ~/home.aspx as your home page in Sitefinity admin, (this should be already done).
    2) Add ~/home.aspx as default document in IIS.
    3) Create a blank ~/home.aspx in the root of your website.
    4) Modify the <cms> configuration section in your web.config as bellow:

    <cms defaultProvider="Sitefinity" pageExtension=".aspx" siteTemplate="" projectName="MySite" disabled="false" pageEditorUIMode="Overlay" redirectToHomePage="false">

    This should do the trick.
