    Hi Team;

    Client got back to us asking if there is way to stop errors from shooting from the user/editor view on sitefinity.

    We will give you a error sample attached (error handling.png).

    The client wants to block these error from appearing from the user end and these should only be logged into the error log files.

    Can you please advice ASAP.

    thanks and regards,

    Hello Wilson Ochoa,

    Thank you for using our services.

    The code block in the error message looks like a custom one. In the case of having custom code developers should provide their own logic for handling errors. Please consider wrapping up the code block with try-catch and handling exceptions in the catch statement.  You can consider the bellow code snippet:

    try
    {
        IList list = null;
        int i = list.Count;
    }
    catch (Exception ex)
    {
        Telerik.Utilities.Log.Exception(ex);
    }

    This will send the raised exception directly to the Sitefinity error logger which will write a error log entry in ~/App_Data/sitefinity.log without throwing the error.

    Best wishes,
