Using the Flash Manager in the editor to embed swf files does not allow an alternative noscript image tag or code snippet if the Flash Player is not installed or enabled.  Yes there is alternative text but when you are creating a web design where the flash component makes a graphical statement, it would nice to have a static image for those who don't have flash installed or enabled (or the latest verison).

Most commercial flash applications provide such routines, is there a method to include this in the current version of Sitefinity flash embedding via the editor through a workaround or is it something to request for future versions or we need to change the editor behaviour ourselves (is so where can this be done)?

    Hello Quokka,

    Thank you for your suggestion.

This should be working under Firefox, because FF itself cannot render an object tag. You can still do this though, but subscribing to the OnClientPasteEvent and change/add the markup you need. More information about this event is available on:

    I hope this helps.

    All the best,
