    Hi praba karan,

Unfortunately the "SingleThread" uses the Query string key from "SingleForum" control. That said, it is not possible to have just  "SingleThread" control and make it work.

You can't use the Single Thread control, but you can show a single thread based on a URL.

    Link to a single thread
    Log in to the sitefinity:
Create a page called forums.aspx. Drop a forums control onto it.
    Click on Pages
    Click on Forums
Click on the View live page in a new window link (it's on the top right hand corner of the page)
Click on the forum where your thread is posted.
Hover the cursor over the thread link In the status bar of your browser (right at the bottom of the screen) the following text appears
The number cf0fe325-a451-46c8-a5df-ef3e548b3a17 is the ID of the thread in the forum
if you add a generic control, and put in a link, set the link to ~/forums.aspx?mode=SingleThread&thread=cf0fe325-a451-46c8-a5df-ef3e548b3a17
It'll go straight to the thread.

    Hi Nick,

You should better create a custom controls that inherit from SingleThread and SingleForum and set the ID before calling CreateChildControls' base. This will allow you to have separate controls for each thread or forum and place them on a different pages independently.

    Kind regards,
