    Hello Everybody,
We have a sitefinity 3.2 website which was installed by a third party on our a straight forward win 2008 server. Although we maintain the site (and find it easy to use), websites are not our expertise.
The problem - we want to move the website to a new server - still running win 2008 server but under xenapp software.
Is this easy to do without reinstalling sitefinity or getting new licences, can we just copy the relevant files to the new machine.
If it is just a copy and paste job - what do I have to copy?

        Thanks for your help

    Hi Graham Laing,

You have to FTP the files from the current server to the new one. If you are changing the database server as well, you need to restore a database backup to the new SQL server ( or another data server) and change your web.config connection string.

    Kind regards,
