    Hi!

    When i drag and drop the tree view control (under navigation) onto my master page in edit and save and come to regular mode. I get the below error.

    *********************

    The control with ID 'RadTreeview1' requires a ScriptManager on the page. The ScriptManager must appear before any controls that need it.

    Hi Smitha,

    You are right that you need to add a script manager in the .master file as shown below:

    ...
    <form id="form1" runat="server"
          <asp:ScriptManager ID="ScriptManager1" runat="server"></asp:ScriptManager>
    ...

    For more information on this matter please refer to the User Manual -> Creating a Master Page.

    Also, you could check out the following link for more information about ScriptManager control: http://www.asp.net/AJAX/Documentation/Live/overview/ScriptManagerOverview.aspx.

    Hi Manoj,

    Please check out whether you have the following line between your <httpHandlers> tag

    <add verb="GET,HEAD" path="ScriptResource.axd" type="System.Web.Handlers.ScriptResourceHandler, System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" validate="false" />
