    Hi, I'm working on a site that plays video using this:

    strFlashPlayer.Append("<object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" ");
                strFlashPlayer.Append(" width=" + width + " height=" + height + " id=\"player\" align=\"middle\">");
                strFlashPlayer.Append("<param name=\"allowScriptAccess\" value=\"sameDomain\" />");
                strFlashPlayer.Append("<param name=\"FlashVars\" value=\"movieURL=" + videoPath + "\" />");
                strFlashPlayer.Append("<param name=\"movie\" value=\"" + applicationPath + "Files/Flash/"+playerType+"\" />");
                strFlashPlayer.Append("<param name=\"quality\" value=\"high\" />");
                strFlashPlayer.Append("<param name=\"bgcolor\" value=\"#ffffff\" />");
                strFlashPlayer.Append("<param value=\"transparent\" name=\"wmode\"/>");
                strFlashPlayer.Append("<embed src=\"" + applicationPath + "Files/Flash/"+playerType+"\" quality=\"high\" wmode=\"transparent\" bgcolor=\"#ffffff\" width=" + width + " height=" + height);
                strFlashPlayer.Append(" name=\"player\" wmode=\"opaque\" align=\"middle\" allowscriptaccess=\"sameDomain\" type=\"application/x-shockwave-flash\"");
                strFlashPlayer.Append(" pluginspage=\"\" flashvars=\"movieURL=" + videoPath + "\" />");

    And when I play the videos, the look too pixelated, but if I play them in an external player, like Windows Media Player, they look fine.

    How can I improve the quality of the videos? Is there another option for this in sitefinity

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Nachitous,

    Sitefinity do no change video quality. I believe that the problem comes form the flash object you use to play this file or you are not using proper size of the . You could also set quality="best"

    All the best,
