There was a thread from July about the project creation issue on Vista, but I have not seen any updates since then.  The project creation also has an issue when not using the default web site.  Does anyone know if there is any update on when the project manager issues will be fixed?

    Hi John,

I believe I had a similar issue you are referring to and managed to fix it.

When you turn on IIS in Vista it doesn't enable all of the security options by default.

After opening the "Turn Windows features on or off" expand the Internet Information Services folder.

Make sure that World Wide Web Services > Security > Windows Authentication is checked.

What this does is enable the Project Manager to authenticate as your user account.

    Hope it helps...

I was getting the following error when trying to launch the Sitefinity Projector Manager under IIS 7/Vista, and turning on Windows Authentication as you described fixed it.  Thanks!

    Here's the error message:

Description: You are not authorized to view this page due to invalid authentication headers.
