I am building some templates for a sitefinity implementation, and they have a very stylised navigation when an item is focused (or selected), thats all fine, and for a 1 dimensional architecture it works fine.  When i start to introduce page groups, and i do not want to show the sub pages in the navigation (they will have their own implementation that sits in a left column) the main group link which sits in he main navigation is never highlighted, the only way around it so far is to have the sub pages checked as show in navigation and hide the rmSlide object in CSS.

The other option i have is working with the item data bound event and do some manipulation there, are these my only two options or are there better ones?

    Thanks for looking.

    Hello Roberto,

Another option is accessing the items from the client and using set_selected and set_focused functions. You could also set the css class by using addCssClass().
