    Hi Sitefinity,

    My client is asking for scheduled service which runs every hour/every 2 hour which they can set and start or stop in backend cms and execute some database operation.

    I saw the article in the sitefinity in this link : the service in the

    The problem in the above link is
    1.I dont have task schedular in the management/systemtools.
    2.Every thing should happen througth the sitefinity.
    3.I dint get abt adding the service file(.asmx) to the sitefinity.

    Please help me to solve this issue.

    Hi ravi shankar,

    You can implement HttpModule that is called on each request. Then check the date time and execute your logic. This is not a good way, because if your website is not accessed withing 2 hours you will not get the required updates on time.
