I just developed a mobile app with Telerik AppBuilder. This app gets some data from a website (using rss feeds and json web services) running Sitefinity 3.7 and everything is working fine. In the next release we'd like to add a "login" functionality to our app in order to allow authenticated users to see some private content. How can I do a secure remote login to avoid packet sniffing and man-in-the-middle attacks? Does Sitefinity 3.7 offer some "stuff" that I can use? Maybe I can avoid doing a persistant login and pass the user credentials everytime instead, but the security problem will still be there.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Andrea,

You could achieve your needs in Sitefinity 3.7 by using https and Creating your own service.

In that service you need to implement the logic you need to validate the user/password and confirmation of its validity.
