Currently, when I view any shared content on a page, this is the message I get:

This content is shared. It cannot be edited here, because the item workflow is turned on. You can edit the item in the Modules section
Is there a way in Sitefinity 3.x to display the name of the shared content (so it would say instead This Content (name of module) is shared so that it is easier to find--rather than having to hunt it down.

One possible way of doing this is to go through the Controls collection on a page and look for the control by its ID or type. You can check if  GenericContentControl.SharedContent is not null, and if so use ContentManager.GetContent(this.ContentID) where ContentID is the ContentID property of the GenericContent control on the page.
