    We have been evaluating sitefinity with the purpose of purchasing it for our company intranet. Just a question with regard to the in-built faq's. For example, when creating a news item the page displays "create a new news item or check news faq's". Is it possible to remove or change the hyperlink to these faq's thus enabling us to create our own faq page and link to that?

    Hi Karl,

    You should map the external templates for the modules you want to modify. Please take a look at How to map a template

    If you want to remove the FAQ link from GenericCotnent module you have to map ContentItemsList.ascx external template and set Visible="False" to the PlaceHolder shown below

    <asp:PlaceHolder ID="emptyWindow" runat="server">
            <div id="empty">
                <h2 class="gridTitle"><telerik:SfLiteral ID="Literal2" runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:NoContent %>"></telerik:SfLiteral></h2>
                <p><asp:HyperLink ID="createNewEmpty" runat="server" cssClass="mainLink" ToolTip="<%$Resources:CreateYourFirstContentTooltip %>"><strong><telerik:SfLiteral ID="Literal3" runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:CreateYourFirstContent %>"></telerik:SfLiteral></strong></asp:HyperLink><br />
                <telerik:SfLiteral ID="Literal4" runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:Or %>"></telerik:SfLiteral>, <a href="" target="_blank" title="Opens in new browser window"><telerik:SfLiteral ID="Literal5" runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:CheckGenericContentFAQ %>"></telerik:SfLiteral></a></p>
