    I don't think this is a bug, but rather a configuration issue. On starting a project in VS2005 I get the following server timeout error:

    Stack Trace:

    [SqlException (0x80131904): Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.]
       Nolics.ORMapper.DataProviders.SQLDataProvider.Open() +109
       Telerik.DataAccess.NolicsHelper.SetConnection(String connectionName, String providerName) +600
       Telerik.DataAccess.AspnetProviders.TelerikRoleProvider.Initialize(String name, NameValueCollection config) +347
       System.Web.Configuration.ProvidersHelper.InstantiateProvider(ProviderSettings providerSettings, Type providerType) +411
    [TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'Telerik.Cms.Web.UrlHelper' threw an exception.]
       Telerik.Cms.Web.CmsHttpModule.BeginRequest(Object sender, EventArgs e) +844
       System.Web.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() +92
       System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) +64

    There is another thread of this for a pre-release version, but the thread seems to have died. We are able to open the database connection and then close it and the problem is resolved until a reboot occurs.

    Also, is there a way to add a <noscript> tag in the RadEditor. It seems to mangle it a bit?

    Hi bnye,

    The exception means that there is no connection to SQL Express.
    Please make sure your connection string is correct. If you are using the default connection, make sure you have SQL Express installed.

    As for the RadEditor problem you mention, we suspect you mean that everything between <noscript></noscript> is gone and the text is always inserted in front of everything else. This exists in Internet Explorer 7.0, but not in IE 6.0 and Firefox. We have logged the issue in our bug tracking system and we will try to fix it in one of the following hotfixes of RadEditor.

    Do tell us if you are talking about some other problem with RadEditor.

    Sincerely yours,
    the Telerik team

    Ahh...I had an unrelated connection issue and had added

    <remove name="Sitefinity"/>

    above the connection string and did not remove it.
