Hi, is there a way to list generic content items (Content Blocks) on a page and link to a detail view that shows the full text. I have migrated a 3.7 installation which used the Generic Content List that is not supported in the current version (unless it is hidden).

I realise that lists are a better solution in the current version but I need a way to support the old content or find a way to migrate it to lists or dynamic content. Any advice?

The generic content have a different purpose to facilitate shared content in versions 4+. The best solution would be to migrate your legacy content blocks to either a dynamic module or to lists. You can find the Lists API here:Lists. Should you decide to go with the dynamic module, you can create a very simple module and use the generated code snipped to create the items from your old content blocks.
