Is there an easy way to first exclude everyone from accessing a page and then allow individual roles?  All that I see is the ability to allow/deny access for each individual role, and that is time consuming for a site with many different roles.

If I select to deny everyone, and then I select individual roles to allow, does that achieve what I'm looking for?  Or does denying everyone prevent me from allowing others?

    Hi HealthRx,

By default each role that you create does not have any permissions over the CMS. This means that you should go and set the permissions manually. If you have several pages that are child pages of root item you could use inheritance option which will save time. For instance the permissions that are set to "All Pages" applies to all child nodes  until you break the inheritance. Another option is using the built in everyone role. Note that permissions set to this role applies to all custom roles you have created.

Let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.
