We are worried to give translators access to Sitefinity because it seems we cannot restrict the permission of a translator to a single language. For example a Spanish translator given access to modify Spanish pages can also access and modify other languages. This is a big security hole in Sitefinity. Is there any way to restrict Translators access so that they can only modify the language/culture they are working in?

    Hello ThorM,

Permissionsper language are not implemented yet. You do not even have a user interface forthis. There are permissions per pages sections and content workflow but not forlanguages.

Perhapsyou can enable the workflow and give certain permissions only to people thatshould approve the content. This way you could be sure that there will be nocontent published by someone who should not touch this language pages.

Sitefinity4.0 Processional edition will have rule based security, so you willbe able to configure different custom rules for your web sitepermissions.

    Best wishes,
    the Telerik team
