I cannot seem to install this using the installer or a Blank Project on a Widows 7 64bit machine.

    Hi bleutiger,

The error code and the log indicate that an "Access denied" error occurred. This problem may occur if incorrect permissions are set for  the folder that contains out executable, ProgramFiles and Windows Temp Files. You should grant the System account Full Control permissions to the folder that contains the executable, ProgramFiles/telerik and Windows Temp files folder.
The installer attempts to copy the file into the  directory - C:\Program Files\Telerik\Sitefinity3.7 but fails due to a permissions problem. This occurs most commonly when the SYSTEM user does not have permissions to the install folder.

Change permissions for the C:\WINDOWS\Installer or C:\WINNT\Installer folder, the C:\TEMP or C:\WINDOWS\TEMP and TEMP\Installer directories to allow SYSTEM and the current user Full Control:

    1. Make sure that the folders and executable are not set to  'read-only'. To do this, right-click on the file, and choose Properties. Verify that the 'read-only' property is unchecked.
    2. You could also try upgrading the Windows installed to a newer version (if there is )

    All the best,
    Ivan Dimitrov
